In the book <em class=\"text-italics\">Elvis for CD Fans Only &#8211; Second Edition <\/em>by Dale Hampton, there reads that &#8220;In October 1988 RCA were about to release the third in the <em class=\"text-italics\"><span class=\"posthilit\">Rocker<\/span><\/em> titled <em class=\"text-italics\"><span class=\"posthilit\">Rocker<\/span> <span class=\"posthilit\">III<\/span>: The <span class=\"posthilit\">Rocker<\/span> Comes Back<\/em> (Catalog number 6425-2-R). It was pressed and ready for release when the decision was made to cancel it&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>I wonder that what happened? Records were already pressed, so why RCA didn&#8217;t released them? And I&#8217;m curious to know the tracklisting of that album too!<\/p><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Could it be that <em class=\"text-italics\">The <span class=\"posthilit\">Rocker<\/span> Comes Back<\/em> was cancelled because of the big hoax back then in 1988 that our man was alive and kickin&#8217;? In 1988 Gail Brewer Giorgio published her book on this and it became a mayor issue in the news. I can imagine Joan Deary &#8211; as producer of the Elvis catalogue back then &#8211; just did not want to put more oil on the fire with a title like <em class=\"text-italics\">Comeback of The <span class=\"posthilit\">Rocker<\/span><\/em>.
